Everyone experiences the pain of getting a tattoo differently, but to answer your question – yes it does hurt, but not that much. People who have tattoos would not return to continue the process or come back to get a new one if the pain was intolerable.
Depending on the size and detail of the art work a tattoo can take anywhere from an hour to 4 hours per session, sometimes your skin needs to heal before competing/continuing with the tattoo which means you can have various sessions before an artwork is complete.
It all comes down to personal taste. You can get whatever tattoo you want and place it where-ever you want.
Getting a tattoo when your not 100% isn’t that good of an idea. You need to be at your best for your white blood cells to heal your tattoo, something your body won’t be able to do as quickly if it’s focusing on battling against a virus or flu. We recommend calling to reschedule your appointment for when you are feeling better.
It will take some time for your skin to heal after getting the tattoo. The healing process varies from person to person.
Note 1 : Wait 3 hours, remove plastic and wash immediately with sunlight dishwashing liquid
– Make the foam in your hands first and wash thoroughly (the first wash is the most important), rinse with cold water.
Note 2: Don’t cover or wrap with plastic again leave it open.
Note 3: Don’t soak your Tattoo in water for 10 days and don’t over cream it, (you can wash it tomorrow morning as well by repeating the washing steps in Note 1) put the ointment on from day 2 once a day.
Note 4: No picking at the scabs and no scratching it will ruin the tattoo!
By law you have to be 18 years or older to get a tattoo. If you are under 18 you have to have a parent or legal guardian with you. We will not tattoo children younger than 16. We will not tattoo children without a legal guardian present. Both the minor & the parent should bring a certified copy of ID + Certified Letter that the legal guardian is giving permission to black & white tattoo studios to give the minor a Tattoo.
